This is a multifunctional page, the main purpose of which is to carry out interaction between the participants
of the project. Friendly Wall is a communication tool, which is very closely connected to the Event Result page,
because the selection of recipients for communication takes place on the EventResult page.
The Friendly Wall consists of 3 columns.
In the left column is your personal card, under which is the My Choice section.
This section displays the badges of all participants in the event that you selected. Each badge contains a photo of the participant,
his/her first name and the first letter of the last name or nickname. Below My Choice is the Blacklist section,
which displays the users you have banned (if any).
In the central column you see the message editor, which includes a text field for writing messages to the recipients you have chosen to communicate with.
Below the text field is a module of 50 animated emoticons
that you can use to convey your emotions. You can also send photos, music videos, or YouTube videos to recipients.
In the right column of the page you will see 2 important sections:
The top section, Mutual Attraction with, displays icons of those event participants with whom you have a mutual interest.
The bottom section in the right-hand column, Event Participants who picked me out, shows icons of those participants who chose you (but you didn't choose them,
other wise they would be in the Mutual Attraction section).
Let's take a closer look at the Event Participants who picked me out section!
You see these people here (on your Friendly Wall page) because: they like you and they don't mind letting you know it, even if you didn't choose them.
What's more: they have allowed you access to their personal profile page, even in the case of non-mutual choice.
You may change your mind and choose them as a result of visiting their personal profile pages, where you may be attracted to various pictures of these people,
their self-descriptions, and something else. After all, first impressions aren't always the right ones. If you want to reciprocate with a person who has chosen you but was not originally
chosen by you, you can easily do so when you visit his/her page by clicking on the I reciprocate button located on that person's page.
Then, that person won't even know that you didn't choose him or her right away, because you will instantly be in the reciprocal choice window (above) when you click I reciprocate.
It is important to remember that not all event participants are willing to reveal their names to someone they have chosen without reciprocity.
And not everyone will allow those with
whom they have not been chosen without reciprocity on the RESULTS EVENT page,
to visit
their personal profile pages. It's up to you, as it is up to every event participant.
However, if you see users with
green lights on their photo or avatar in the list of people who have chosen you not reciprocally,
it means that these people are not hiding their interest in you and are letting you visit their page,
even if the choice is not mutual. These people give you a chance to change your mind and reciprocate.
Question:
Who determines whether the person you have not mutually selected will know that you have selected him or her?
Answer:It is your decision.
Each member (like you) sets the type of access to their profile on the My Events page for each event.
You can change the access type at any time. The program will ask you:
Who can have access to your profile?
- My mutual matches only (default)
- Mutual matches and those I have chosen without reciprocity.
If you choose My mutual matches only or don't make a choice of access type at all,
then only your reciprocal matches will be selected and notified. All of your possible non-mutual choices will remain your secret.
We recommend allowing everyone you like access to your profile. By doing so, you increase your chances.
But the decision is yours.
How to send a message:
1. Select the recipient of the message in the right or left column of the page by clicking on the icon (photo) of the recipient in their nametag.
2. Make sure the selection is made correctly. If done correctly, the name, first letter of the last name and icon of the selected participant will be added in red on the very top line of the center portion of the page.
3. In the text editor, write your message. If you like, add emoticons, a photo, and a clip and click SEND MESSAGE.
The message will be sent to your recipient's wall, which will be visually confirmed by a drop-down notification and an
animated module with the message text.
To send a reply to a message
you have received, click on the RESPOND button
in the message box, and write your reply to the message in the text box that opens; then click on the SEND ANSWER

4. Working with the blacklist (how to ban and unblock a user).
In some cases you may need to block messages from a user.To ban a user, click on his/her icon (photo) in the section with his/her text message or reply.
You can't ban a user from another part of the page. In the window that opens, click the SEND TO BLACK LIST
button. You will see that the banned user icon will be moved from “My Choices”
in the left column of the page to the Black List (Banned Users).).
Since then, the user will be blocked and won't be able to send you messages until you unblock him/her and remove him/her from the Black List.
To remove the ban from the user, just click on his/her icon-picture in the Black List
section. After that, the user's badge will be removed from the Blacklist, and the Banned marking will be removed from the My Choices list.
All your actions are confirmed by messages about the performed operations in the form of pop-up notifications.
